Welcome to Instructional Innovation Programs at UCR

The mission of  Instructional Innovation Programs (IIP) is to support excellence in instruction at the University of California at Riverside.  The Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education has committed resources to the Office of Instructional Development to fund IIP, Instructuional Innovation & Excellence grants, development programs, and support services to promote the effective use of current and emerging instructional methodologies, pedagogues, and technologies to enhance teaching and learning opportunities on our campus.

  • INSTRUCTIONAL SPACE

The Flex Classrooms are three renovated rooms in Surge 171, Surge 172, Surge 173.  These Flex Classrooms are equipped with advanced instructional technologies and movable furniture that is ideal for team-based learning approaches. The rooms can be configured to meet individual faculty needs and teaching styles. These rooms can be scheduled through a Flex Classroom Grant or a Room Request, please note that each option has different deadlines.  Scheduling for Fall 2008 is currently taking place,  the final Deadline for room request for Fall 2008 is Friday, March 7, 2008.
